So I'm Not The Most Consistent Blogger In The World

But in my defence, I have been busy!
I've been dying.
And I knitted a shawl,

and a hat,

and a vest for the human tornado,

and a jumper for myself!

See, very busy!

Conversations with Coen

[Hear Coen Crying]

I said, "What happened?"
He said, "I hit my nose on the cushion"

I said, "Did you hurt yourself?"
He said, "No."

I said, "Then why are you crying?"
He said, "I'm not crying, I'm sooking!"

Happy Birthday Coen!

A good Birthday starts with presents...

followed by more presents...

then playing with presents.

"Look Mum, it's the Fat Controller."

The best Birthday Brekky, Pancakes!

Followed closely by more presents!
And phone calls...

lots,

and lots,

and lots,

of phone calls!

"What kind of birthday cake would you like Coen?"

"Chocolate!"

"What kind of icing do you want on top?"

"Chocolate!"

"What would you like to decorate it with?"

"Chocolate!"

And then there were visitors
who brought more presents!

Happy 3rd Birthday Coen!
Now please stop growing up so fast, I'm struggling to cope with all this!

Fish Hat!

In January I started knitting a Fish Hat for Coen. Two jumpers, some gloves and 10 other random projects later I finished it today. He's been wearing it ever since!
We visited several shops in Kilmore today and in every shop we visited sales assistants and customers all commented on Coen's wonderful hat. Of course he hated all that attention! He even told them that his mum knitted his hat, and then went on to tell them that I'd knitted his jumper too. No need to brag when Coen's around, he's got me covered!

What's Up With The Underbite?

Coen and I spent the afternoon hanging out in town yesterday. While he was playing in the park I took about a million photos of the boy, and in most of them he is making an odd face with an underbite smile combination. Very strange!

I purchased some 'chips' from Coen's shop.

Bargain!

And Coen practiced gazing into the distance. What a beautiful child!
After the park went to the Town Hall for coffee and cakes with my friend Jen (yes, confusing) and Coen did some beautiful drawing..... on his nose.
Then we headed back to the park for more playing.

At one stage whilst playing with this swingy thing Coen whacked himself on the nose. He was very brave, it must have really hurt, but there were no tears. He has a bruise on the tip of his nose this morning.

I have some cute pics of Jen on the slide too, but I think I'll be killed if I put them in here. Not me Jen, the other Jen, I'm confused.
